Brick Alley is a Recognised LEGO Fan Community

Brick Alley are really happy to announce we are a now Recognised LEGO Fan Community!

The Fan CoLab is LEGO’s updated system for supporting fan communities, as well as selected events and Fan Creators. The idea in this change is to bring Recognised LEGO Fan Communities (previously known as LEGO User Groups) together worldwide with a more consistent approach to resources, guidance and support.

Brick Alley joins just 6 other LEGO communities in the UK with this recognition from the LEGO Group, opening opportunities for our members, and helping us shape the future of the LEGO hobby.

What does the change mean for our members?

The changes are minimal for our members – we will still run our community LEGO fan events in North East England throughout the year. This change means we’re still recognised by the LEGO Group as an “official” LEGO club for adult fans, and will continue to receive support and guidance from them – we have some exciting things to reveal soon for Shildon Brick Show this year!
