Join Brick Alley

If you love LEGO bricks and live in the North East of England, Brick Alley is for you!

Membership requirements

We ask members of Brick Alley LEGO User Group to:

  • love LEGO: building it, discussing it, displaying it, or all of the above!
  • be 18 years of age, or older – or aged 13 years or older, and can be accompanied by a parent or guardian
  • get involved with LEGO events in the area, like Shildon Brick Show and Discovery Brick Show

Why join a LEGO User Group?

Here our chair Richard talks about what a LEGO User Group is, what we do, and why you might like to join us:

There are many benefits to joining a LEGO User Group (“LUG”) like Brick Alley:

  • Foremost for many members is that it provides a chance to meet other adult LEGO fans in the region.
  • We have a membership of around 60 people, from 13 years old through to members in their eighties – and there is a wide range of interests, from building to collecting, minifigure collection, and trading LEGO sets and parts. As well as regular meet-ups, we have an active private Facebook group for members to chat and discuss ideas.
  • Annual membership brick and other member perks
  • A chance to see what some of the best LEGO builders in the country are up to
  • Trips and visits to LEGO events and exhibitions in the region
  • Building challenges with a chance to win LEGO prizes – a great chance to improve your own building skills in a supportive community
