Shildon Brick Show 2026
Shildon Brick Show is back – two days of LEGO, LEGO and more LEGO awaits!
Join us at the brilliant Locomotion Museum for LEGO displays, activities and marketplace with everything from minifigures to rare sets. Since our first event in 2016, Shildon Brick Show has become one of the largest events for LEGO fans in the UK – ideal for fans of any age!
With free entry and free parking, Shildon Brick Show offers a great day out for the family in North East England.
Tickets for Shildon Brick Show are free and we recommend pre-booking to guarantee entry as this is a busy event.
Tickets will be available for walk ins, though we recommend pre-booking. Please contact the museum with ticket enquiries.
LEGO fan model displays
Shildon Brick Show is full of LEGO models created by fan builders from across the UK, from LEGO cities to LEGO art, Star Wars, Marvel and DC, to Technic, trains, great ball contraptions and much more.
When you’re finished admiring the models, you can visit our marketplace to find that hard-to-find LEGO set or some pocket money toys, and then dive in to our brick play pits!
Models vary each year, and we can’t guarantee individual models will attend.
Dive in and play with thousands of LEGO bricks in our LEGO and DUPLO play pits.
Build whatever inspires you and have your photo taken with your model as a memento of the day!
Our ever popular LEGO minifigure hunt is back!
Find 9 LEGO minifigures on our displays holding letters, and spell out the word for a chance to win LEGO prizes, drawn on Sunday evening after the event closes.
£1 per entry – you can purchase entry sheets from our desk near the entrance to the event.
Hands-on activities for all ages
As well as our LEGO brick play pits, builders of any age can take part in a number of activities with LEGO bricks throughout the weekend.
Activities are free to join in, but are subject to change and availability.
Marketplace
Our marketplace is full of hand-picked stalls selling LEGO parts, sets and minifigures.
Great for finding that rare LEGO set, minifigure or finding a bargain (or that vital missing part!) amongst the loose parts, sets and minifigures.
Most trade stands will accept both cash and card. There is not a cash machine on site within the museum.
Food and drink
There is a café on site within the museum providing hot and cold drinks and food options. This can become very busy!
Tables for picnics are provided in the marquee area if you’d like to bring your own lunch for the day.
Join the local LEGO fan community
Come and join our community of adult LEGO fans in North East England!
Shildon Brick Show attracts over 100 volunteers and exhibitors, making it a great place to meet like-minded LEGO fans, with LEGO set and figure collectors, custom model (MOC) builders, and more.
