Brick Alley April LEGO fan meetup in Hartlepool

On Sunday 19th April 2026 Brick Alley members headed over to Hartlepool for a meetup in this brilliant maritime museum, the National Museum of the Royal Navy.

“A different sort of venue this time. A fascinating look round the museum where you are able to go onboard HMS Trincomalee which is permanently docked there to see what life was like on board a warship over 200 years ago. The last Royal Navy ship to be built in India (in 1817), she is the oldest floating warship in the country. There are also displays of old shops that might have been found in a 19th century port.”

“After exploring the exhibits for an hour, we headed to our pre-booked meeting room to commence some LEGO building. Of course the theme was naval or similar. Some excellent builds and the attendees voted on each others creations. The winner was one of our newer members – Elliot Huddart – attending with his Dad, Mark.”
