Our collaborative LEGO displays
One of the things Brick Alley does as a LEGO User Group is to organise collaborative builds for members to participate in.
These are typically in a format which enables lots of people to build a small part of a LEGO model or display, which comes together for public exhibition at one or more of our LEGO fan events in North East England.
Famous Brits
Our Famous Brits collaborative build started in 2024.
This project saw members build a stackable display called a “habitat” containing a famous person from British history who made a positive impact.
Brick Tapestry
Our Brick Tapestry is a recurring collaborative display for the club.
Using a canvas of around 64 x 64 LEGO studs to build art of a chosen theme. 2024’s theme was North East landmarks.
Previous themes include Minifigures and World history.
