The venue

The venue is the brilliant National Railway Museum at Shildon (“Locomotion”) in County Durham.

We’ll be filling the museum with a range of LEGO displays and traders again this year, and are expecting to attract an audience of both families looking for a day out indoors, and adult fans of LEGO. We have many draws for you as a trader at our show:

  • Great footfall: as the largest LEGO event in the North East of England, we’ve got a huge venue which we’re filling full of LEGO stalls, displays and activities
  • Well publicised event: we’re working on great coverage for social media and local news, as well as LEGO-related magazines.
  • Free parking AND free entry: we’re very lucky to have the support of the venue, and as a national museum, entry is free for all. There’s also a large amount of free parking onsite – a great draw for families looking for a day out!
  • Free tea and coffee for exhibitors: we have access to a private room for exhibitors and traders only, so there’ll be plenty of free tea, coffee and biscuits on hand for you

We’re the biggest LEGO show in the North East of England*, and the venue are expecting an weekend attendance of 6000 – 8000 people will come through the doors, based on attendance to similar events in the past.
