Shildon Brick Show 2020

Shildon Brick Show - LEGO show in County Durham

9 November 2020

Shildon Brick Show 2020 may be cancelled, but we’re still celebrating our love of LEGO with a series of video interviews with members and their LEGO models.

This weekend would have been the fifth anniversary of our flagship LEGO show in North East England, Shildon Brick Show, hosted at the brilliant Locomotion Museum in County Durham. As it is, coronavirus means we had to cancel this year’s event some time ago, but fear not, LEGO fans – we still have a little taste of the LEGO models on display in a series of video interviews with our members, hosted by Graham Hancock of Blocks Magazine.

Steve’s brilliant Stephenson’s Rocket model in LEGO bricks

You can vote for this model to become an official LEGO set on LEGO Ideas here.

Jack’s HUGE LEGO Saturn V launch tower

Mike’s brilliant optical illusion – LEGO Teen Titans lenticular

If you prefer, you can watch all videos from this year’s Shildon Brick Show video interviews on YouTube, in this Shildon Brick Show 2020 playlist.

With luck, Shildon Brick Show will be back at Locomotion again in November 2021 – fingers crossed!
